Life Groups

Life Groups are a great place to connect with people, make new friends, discover more about who Jesus is, and develop as a Christian.

Groups usually run in 10 week blocks – with a few weeks break between blocks. Groups usually meet on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings, starting at about 7:30pm.

We meet at a range of locations across Leicester.

Usually every group is different, focussing on specific theme, topic or activity. You can choose which group to sign up to, depending on what suits you best. All the groups aim to encourage, inspire, build relationships and equip you to serve God and others more effectively.

Matt Hill is our Life Group Coordinator so please speak to him about any further information.

LIFE GROUPS: Autumn2017

Living in Grace

With Matt and Becky Hill; on Tuesdays at 7.30pm; at Matt and Becky’s home, Wigston
Grace is the undeserved and unearned ability to be in right relationship with God, and to live and love as God intended us to. In this Life Group, we will be studying what grace really means and what God intended it for in our lives. We will look practically each week at what grace should look like.

Pudding and Prayer

With Matt and Jane Cowley; on Tuesdays at 7.45pm; at Matt and Jane’s Home, Fleckney
An opportunity to spend time with people in prayer each week for specific set topics such as world issues or a current affair issue. Following the serious stuff, we'll have some time eating the pudding stuff

But We See Jesus: A Look at the Book of Hebrews

With Pastors Phil and Mary; on Tuesdays at 7.30pm; at Pastor Phil and Mary’s home, Glenfield
Not every book of the Bible is easy but they all have important things to say to us. In this survey of Hebrews, we will find out what it is saying, what it means, and what it says about Jesus and ourselves.

Christ is Enough

With Curtis and Sandra Quashie; on Wednesdays at 7.30pm; at Curtis and Sandra’s home, Wigston
The church at Colossae was being enticed away from the Gospel through teaching that promoted strict self-denial for spiritual gain and the worship of angels - In other words they were being taught that Christ wasn’t enough.  In the face of the opposition, distractions and false teaching we face today, the teaching that Paul brought to the Colossian church, that Christ is enough, is so relevant to us today.
Join with us as we explore the teaching in the book of Colossians.

With Andy Harrison and Kev Armstrong; on Wednesdays at 7.30pm; at Life Church, Wigston
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from ‘who is Jesus?’ and ‘how can we have faith?’ to ‘why and how do I pray?’ and ‘how does God guide us?'

Lioness Arising (Book Club)
