Our journey so far

Over fifty years ago Pastor Ken Rowlands came to Wigston to plant a church and pioneer a work of God. In the early 70s a piece of land was bought on Central Avenue, a building was built and Central Pentecostal Church was opened. In the late 80s our current building was bought.

In 2006 Pastors Phil & Mary Buckley moved down from Yorkshire to become the Pastors of the church. Not long after that the name was changed to Life Church. In 2020 Pastor Phil retired with Pastor Mary becoming the Lead Pastor and Pastor Matt Hill assisting her.
